Margaret is a
tapestry weaver who is passionate about her medium. The subtlety of working with yarns and the resulting textures are inherent to her work which reflects her interest in organic structures. Her recent
work has become less representational and calmer than previously, maintaining the strangeness
and almost primitive echoes in a more abstract and ambiguous image. She deals
with transient concepts in one of the most intransient of materials.
