I have been fortunate to have enjoyed a successful career in graphic design and textile art.
As part of a Fine Arts degree, I am currently exploring some exciting aspects of print making. Most of my images are black and white, which gives them a stronger dynamic than coloured canvasses. The marks made by wood and lino cuts are sharp and staccato. Carborundum and soapstone crystals on Perspex give a dense but softer line.
For my piece in this exhibition I have returned to my previous discipline of oils.
